Firestarter Games was created as a means of sharing our love of the outdoors through our obsession with games.
We design small, strategic and packable games with the depth of tabletop experiences. From riverside to mountaintop, tent to cabin, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating the wild wonders of our world through play.
How it all started
We met as outdoor instructors working on Vancouver Island, playing games with youth and co-instructors. Our time off was often spent paddling rivers or playing board games together. As winter came one year we challenged ourselves to make a game we could share with others on trip and Downstream was made. From there we have brought Masters of Maple Syrup (a game Seb had designed earlier) into production and started making our idea into a reality.
With so many positive outdoor experiences in our lives, we look forward to the games we can make of them and the stories we can share through them.
